Ever wonder how life would be if you never could tell whether the food you eat has gone bad or not? Think about it, certain foods have a smell that you can detect that tells you it has gone real bad and you can’t eat it anymore. Other foods grow moldy or change in color, so your eyes can tell you that warning sign is a good reason to not ingest the food.

What if Allah never made that happen? What if the food never had the ability to let you know through your other senses that it was bad and that it would be dangerous to eat it. What if you had to actually eat it to find out? It’s harder to get the taste out of your mouth and to get rid of the sickness and pain than it is to get the smell away from your nose or the sight away from your eyes. This is something so small but something I’ve never really thought about until now. There’s so much wisdom in why the world is the way it is, and why some things are the way they are. Why the timing of some things are different, and why some people belong in the same family. The list is endless. When you start learning about the deen, and see how much wisdom there is behind certain rulings, you start to realize Allah has put His infinite wisdom in a lot of things around you in other aspects of your life. It starts to open your eyes more to what truly is the reason behind everything.

The best part of it all, is that we don’t even know the half of it. There’s some wisdom only Allah knows and only He will forever know. But the wisdom that we can figure out by ourselves, that is enough to make us realize just how many blessings there are in your life, and just how Great of a Creator your Lord truly is.
